Dear future me,

You better have a rockin bod, be one of the illest female MCs and have met Trey Songz….or Derrick Rose. Just kidding though.

Real words of wisdom from your 18-year-old self:

I hope by now you have stopped being so gotdamn lazy and acquired your fullest “potential” that everyone says you have. I bet nothing will be as easy as it is now so i’ll do you a favor and during this journey that leads me to you, i’ll take in every challenge as a lesson; so when shit hits the fan you got an umbrella, a raincoat and febreeze to handle dat.

I hope your children are as beautiful as your husband. Oh and you better know how to cook, because the fuck?…you suck if you don’t (note to self: learn how to cook NOW). Raise your children to be the men and women that thrive and laugh at the face of danger. Flourish them with culture and keep them busy with activities that will make them famous $$$$$. Hehe.  Just be sure when you have children you are aware of the world you’re bringing them into.

You’re doing just fine right now, but there’s always room for growth. You better keep your word and be the woman you’ve always dreamt of being.

Hope to get to know you soon. xoxo,

Me
